Epitalon is sold under at least three spellings, and one adjacent name that is a different product entirely.

Epitalon, Epithalon, and Epithalone all refer to the same synthetic tetrapeptide, Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly. Epithalamin is a pineal tissue extract from the same Russian research programme — related in origin, not the same thing. Listings blur them.

What the evidence rests on

The compound profile grades telomerase activation and animal lifespan work at D, and the human aging-biomarker work at C. Nearly all of it comes from one research lineage over several decades, with limited independent replication — the pattern the bioregulator review works through.

That is not a reason to dismiss it. It is a reason not to buy on the strength of a claim that telomerase activation has been established in people.

Strength claims deserve scrutiny here

This catalog lists Epitalon up to 100 mg per vial, which is a large amount of a four-residue peptide. Net peptide content on a lot-matched certificate is what distinguishes a genuinely loaded vial from a labelled one, and at this molecular size counterions and residual solvent make gross vial weight a poor proxy.

Mass-spec identity remains the first check. Everything else assumes the powder is what the label says.

Before you buy

  • Epitalon, Epithalon, and Epithalone are spelling variants of one peptide — but Epithalamin is a different, tissue-extract product. Check which you are buying.
  • Require mass-spec identity on a lot-matched COA. A four-residue peptide is inexpensive to substitute.
  • Confirm net peptide content; counterions are a large fraction of vial weight at this size.
  • Be sceptical of strength claims at the high end — a 100 mg vial is a lot of tetrapeptide, and the price should reflect real material.
