WADA

Also: World Anti-Doping Agency

In plain language

The international body that sets the rules on banned substances in sport and publishes the yearly Prohibited List.

Technical definition

The World Anti-Doping Agency, an international organization that harmonizes anti-doping policy and maintains the annually updated Prohibited List of substances and methods banned in competitive sport.

Many peptides — including growth hormone secretagogues, GHRH analogs, and TB-500 — appear on the WADA Prohibited List. Competitive athletes should assume these substances can trigger an anti-doping violation.
